Graduate Student Melissa Parks wins NCA's Benson-Campbell Dissertation Award

Graduate student Melissa Parks won the Benson-Campbell Dissertation Award from NCA's Public Address Division. Her dissertation is entitled, "From the Redwoods Conservation Movement to Genome Mapping: Genetic Ecologies of the Twentieth and Twenty-First Centuries." The Benson-Campbell Dissertation Research Award honors the scholarly contributions of Thomas Benson and Karlyn Kohrs Campbell by recognizing outstanding promise in doctoral research in rhetoric and public address. More information can be found herehttps://ncapad.com/2019/07/11/call-for-nominations-2020-benson-campbell-dissertation-research-award/.
