John R. Park Debate Society - Department of Communication

Founded by John R. Park in 1869, the University of Utah’s Speech & Debate Team is one of the oldest teams in the western United States. We have a long tradition of competitive success in parliamentary debate and individual events. For the last six years, the University of Utah has finished in the top 10 nationally.
