Town and Gown on Nov. 1 to Feature Dr. Carla V. Lloyd
Please join us for the Department of Communication's annual Town & Gown featuring
the 2016-'17 Parry D. Sorensen Distinguished Lecturer, Carla V. Lloyd, PhD, emeritus
professor from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University.
When: Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.
Where: Little America Hotel, Olympus Room
Dr. Lloyd will present a short lecture titled, "That's Just the Clothes Talking: What
You Wear Communicates More than You Think." This talk will explore the communication
effect of how people dress, including an exploration of personal impression management,
politics of appearance, media's ideal imagery, and clothing.
A reception with food and drinks will follow the talk. This event is free and open
