Mark Bergstrom Elected First Vice President of WSCA

Please join the department in congratulating Mark Bergstrom on his election to the position of First Vice President of the Western States Communication Association (WSCA), effective at the end of the 2014 WSCA convention in Anaheim. Dr. Bergstrom will assume the position of President-Elect in 2015, plan the 2016 convention in San Diego, and be WSCA President in 2017.

Dr. Bergstrom attended his first WSCA conference in 1992 and has been an active member ever since. From his statement of goals post-nomination: "When I served as Executive Director I always put the needs of members first, and if elected, I will continue to do so. WSCA is a great organization because of all the members who support it intellectually, with their service to the association, and the officers who over the years have listened carefully to the membership and guided the continual improvement of WSCA over the years. I will work hard and play hard, for you and with you!"
