Prof. Heather Canary Presenting Research at Free, Public Program

Dr. Heather Canary with the Dept. of Communication will be presenting her research on "Roles of the Scientist in Society" this Wednesday, March 26, from 2-4 pm in the Health Sciences Education Building (HSEB), Room 1750, as part of the Research Administration Training Series (RATS).

The presentation will discuss some of the conflicting roles of the scientist as a responsible member of society, how this affects the practice of science and the training of young scientists, and the environmental, ethical and societal impacts of scientific research.

All Faculty, Postdoctoral Scholars and Graduate Students are invited to attend. There is no cost for the program and light refreshments will be provided. For more information, visit education.research.utah.edu.
