U faculty, student essays appear in Communication Currents - Department of Communication - The University of Utah - Department of Communication

Translation essays from University of Utah Department of Communication faculty and graduate students are published in the April 2014 issue of Communication Currents.

Assistant professor Sonya Aleman's essay "Locating Whiteness in Journalism Pedagogy" is translated from a recent issue of Critical Studies in Media Communication.

The issue also features an essay from assistant professor Heather Canary's project team, which includes U doctoral candidates Carlos Tarin and Julie Taylor. The essay, "Engaging Students in 'Big Picture' Ethics," is translated from a recent issue of Communication Education.
