U students participate in Doctoral Honors Seminars

Five doctoral students from the Department of Communication have been selected to participate in this year's National Communication Association's Doctoral Honors Seminar.

The Doctoral Honors Seminar brings together 31 students from around the nation to discuss current topics in communication. This year's DHS, held at the University of Maryland this July, will focus on "Research in Action, Research that Matters."

From the University of Utah, Veronica Dawson, Kathleen Hunt, Melinda Krakow, Megan O'Byrne and Carlos Tarin were selected to participate.
