Edna Rogers WSCA Celebration - Department of Communication

The Organization for Research on Women and Communication held a celebration for the life, work, and example of Dr. Edna Rogers at the 2013 Annual meeting of the Western States Communication Association. From the conference program: "Edna Rogers, Professor Emerita of Communication at the University of Utah, has long been a leader in relational communication, offering an early and unique approach in using systems theory to explore interpersonal communication." Dr. Rogers's students and colleagues came together to recognize her many accomplishments, her life-changing influence on their experiences, and, of course, her outstanding personal characteristics.

Dr. Rogers said of the program: "It was an incredible honor -- a very personal and touching experience as I listened to the words of my colleagues, both those on the panel and in the audience. It was a real high point."
