Prof. Jakob Jensen named Presidential Scholar

Department of Communication assistant professor Jakob Jensen has been named a Presidential Scholar at the University of Utah.

The Presidential Scholar is a new award presented to faculty members at the mid-career level who demonstrate outstanding talent.

The designation comes with a $10,000 per year funding for three years, which can be used for any activities or purchases that enrich his research activities.

Jensen was nominated by his chair and dean for the Presidential Scholar recognition and selected from a pool of nominees from across the university.
