Assistant Professor, Sonya Aleman, Featured in Alumni Connection
Sonya M. Aleman PhD’09, a University of Utah assistant professor in communication and ethnic studies, is the recipient of the University Neighborhood Partners Community Scholar in Residence award for 2013-15. The award of $5,000 per year for two years will support her work to build the capacity of Venceremos, the University of Utah’s only bilingual, alternative, ethnic student publication.
