Congratulations to Dr. Suhi Choi.

Dr. Suhi Choi has been awarded competitive research funding ($15,000) from the Academy of Korean Studies as well as a teaching grant ($3,500) from the University of Utah.  Dr. Choi will use these two grants to support not only her new research project that investigates dynamic interactions among iconography, performance, and commodification at various Korean War memorial sites, but also her new undergraduate course titled "Korean Media and Culture" that will be taught for the first time in the spring of 2014.
