Yomna Elsayed, ACLS postdoctoral fellow, will talk about her research on the effects of humor and social influence on online toxicity. She utilizes experimental methods and a sentiment analysis machine learning model to study these effects. This is also an invitation for a conversation around topics of ML and the use of computational methods in humanities and social science research.
