SALT LAKE CITY, UT - The Department of Communication at the University of Utah is excited to announce the hire of new accountant Marla Chinbold. Chinbold comes to the department after studying accounting in Mongolia and finance at BYU-Hawaii. Throughout her work history, she worked as an interpreter at a Mongolian coal mining site, which she says is the most interesting job she has had, and as a financial analyst at Gathre, which is where she learned the most. 

In her spare time, Chinbold is learning how to knit and cross stitch. She also enjoys spending time with her family, usually while walking, cooking, hiking, and watching movies. 

We are looking forward to Marla joining our staff and department community this Monday, June 27th.
