Danielle Endres Named Director of Environmental Humanities

photo of Danielle EndresDanielle Endres has been named the next Director of Environmental Humanities. The Environmental Humanities Program, the first environmental humanities master’s program in the nation, is housed in the College of Humanities. The program offers an interdisciplinary master’s program for students focused on the complexities of environmental crisis and change and the relationships between humans and the environment.

Danielle has been involved with the Environmental Humanities program since its start in 2005, regularly taught for the program, and advised numerous EH graduate students. The EH Program is fortunate to have an experienced and enthusiastic leader for this next era.

Danielle, who retains her faculty position in Communication, is looking forward to this new opportunity and to the many collaborative efforts ahead.
